Manchester

This is a little update about my day trip to Manchester 2 weeks ago. First of all, I went to the Old Trafford Stadium.

Almost everything I can see is in red color...of course ...it's Manchester United.

Lunch at "Burn-a-Hole-In-My-Pocket" Restaurant...hahaha

This is a beautifully carved library which I feel very "Harry Potter-ish".

Other BORING places that I went during my trip at Manchester City Center.

Sorry I have to end this post so quickly, it's late and I'm gonna go to bed now...c ya!=)

It's lunch time

I have no class today thus I tried to make mashed potatoes as lunch for the first time. Been watchin some of the easy recipe on Utube, and I ended up with a very tasty mashed patatoes!

Steps:

1. Chop potatoes into smaller cube and boiled in water for 15-20 minutes

2. Pour out the hot water and mash the potatoes.

3. Add in butter, little salt and some milk and mix it.

4. Done! the potatoes can be serve with brown sauce dressing.

By the way, the brown sauce I bought was very sour for me but the mashed potatoes itself was delicious!

Shopping at Meadowhall

Today is sunday and I went shopping with friends at Meadowhall shopping centre. I get myself a pair of simple white sneaker at Debenhams. It's only £7...love! Lots of men's and women's wear at Primark is cheap as well...I'll definitely go back to buy some shirts when I have to! =)

I've been to a beautiful place called York this weekend...the day trip was only 11 pounds.

Rice

Finally, I'm having rice as my dinner for the first time since I reached UK...I miss Malaysian foods!! =(

I'm Far Away From My Home!

I'm currently in Sheffield,UK, pursuing my degree while i'm still recovering. This is the updates of first few days of my life in Sheffield.

First of all, this is my room which located at Victoria Hall.

Yes, my bed is larger than the others coz I'm living in the master room!

Okay, was having enough fun for 3 days. It's time to getting more serious and start our study.

Lab session on last Tuesday...reviewing some syntax of C++ programming.

Forgot to bring my lunch for the first day to class. Bought a £ 1.70 sandwich from the cafe >.<

BORING lecture!
