Have watched the movie - TRON: LEGACY last week. Even though the plot is a little bit lackluster but the CGI effect is superb. That's what I like the most. I'm totally visually satisfied by this movie. The characters ..both Sam and Quorra looks super yeng and cool. The lightcycle is very sophisticated and sleek. The Disk game is amazingly interesting. Last but not least, the music score by Daft Punk is pretty nice. I just love everything I saw in the movie. It simply makes me wanna be an user inside the grid as well...

Sam Flynn Quorra

So what are you waiting for? If you still haven't watch it yet, Just go get your ticket and enjoy the movie!!

p/s: Pls Don't blame me if u don't get the awesomeness of this movie like i did...peace =D

Need A Change

My current mobile phone SE C510 is officially dead. I need a new mobile phone but there are so many choices out there that make it so hard to make a decision. I've been researching for some latest mobile phones in the market that meet my preferences since a month ago. Fortunately, I manage to narrow down the scope of my choices. Yet I still need opinion to come out with a final choice. So here are the few mobile phones that I prefer:

Samsung Galaxy 5
Android 2.1 | 2M pixel camera | 240x320 TFT screen | RM 699

Nokia C7
Symbian 3 | 8M pixel camera | 360x640 AMOLED screen | RM 1400

Nokia C6-01
Symbian 3 | 8M pixel camera | 360x640 AMOLED screen | RM 1200

HTC Smart
Brew Mobile | 3.2M pixel camera | 240x320 TFT screen | RM 799

TARC Convocation

Last Saturday was my Advance Dip. Convocation. It was the first day I return to my college since March 2010. Well, the surrounding of tarcollege did change a little as the '2nd' new building has finished its construction, some stone chairs in the gardens were painted, and some of the walking paths were decorated with stone and pebbles.

- Class of 2010 -

Only few friends were attending convocation this time. I didn't stayed at college very long. Just take a few photos and left afterwards. However, revisting tarcollege reminds me of how worry-free and happy I could be when I was a college student. Time flies and I'm currently a working man. Realizing working life is not that easy, I feel that I need to be more independent than before to be able to manage the obstacles in my career.

I may sounds a little bit emo now while talking about jobs. So let's skip that serious talking and proceed to my visit to Fahrenheit 88. First of all, after the convocation, I eagerly went to the highly publicized UNIQLO clothing store where I end up buying nothing over there due to the overpriced menswear. Only the tees were affordable but I have lost my passion in shopping since the day I came back from UK...muaahahaha

- Fahrenheit 88 with Uniqlo -

Regarding Fahrenheit 88, I can say that it's very small and don't have much interesting shops. However, Pavilion is a total contrast to F88. Pavilion is still very exciting and interesting for me, especially the x'mas decoration which amazed me. Too bad I'm not working in KL, otherwise I will visit Pavilion very often.

I'm Employed

I'm currently working at IDT as a Product/Test Engineer. This is my first ever job in my entire life. The first week in the company was very relaxing. What I've done in my first week at work was simply watch, learn and do a little bit of hands-on on testing IC. But there were simply too much to learn and remember in my first week there. I hope I can pick up my pace on the learning process so that I would be able to do my jobs smoothly and independently in coming weeks. It's a new beginning for me and I'm looking forward to find the true joy of working life...

1st Interview

This is a little story about my first ever interview for a job. What to say? I may say that it was a below average performance. I can't say that I did not do my preparation a night before. I did do my revision on a few technical stuff about engineering. But what I have ignore is the detail about the company. The interviewer just keep asking me what I know about their company, their products, the job in the industry, what is my responsibility as an engineer, what do I expect from their company, How do you relate your academic results with the job you may going to get, what's the job scope of production engineer...etc. For someone who are experienced, those questions are definitely just a piece of cake. However, a newbie like me and it was a first interview...those questions are real tough for me!

I'm pretty worry abt remaining jobless until the end of the year. So I guess I simply have to step my game up for the next interview. Good luck to myself!!

I'm Home and here comes the emo feeling

Four months oversea journey ended now. Once again, stepping on the ground of Malaysia, I smell... FOOD!! M'sia surely has the most diverse local delicacies and cuisine, I can't deny it. Laksa, Prawn Mee, Jawa Mee, Cendol etc. those food are simply irresistible. Now, my primary mission is aimed on those food.

The next mission is......looking for a JOB >.<
I was amazed about how time flies. The 22 years of my existence in this world has become part of the history. I am now a young energetic man...ready to go...prepared to venture into new things - the job and the future. Speaking of which, the future is quite obscure for me unless I manage overcome the only barrier in my life. I just don't have the guts. I have fear and I afraid my fear has already became a phobia, as it haunts me in my dream occasionally.

Looking for a helping hand, striving for acceptance...I guess it will turn out to be a futile attempt after all. So, no use struggling, no use being vulnerable, no use looking for sympathy. Because nobody would ever understand. Even if it does, it takes very long time...

No matter what, I just have to hang on and be strong....

I wish there's a time

where I don't need another perfect line
don't care if critics ever jump in line
and I'm gonna give all my secrets away...

72 hrs trip to Scotland

I was still sick while on the trip to Scotland. I have no choice because I had paid the fees already. Having runny nose on the 1st day at Scotland and I was sneezing all the time at Edinburgh. Quite suffering at the moment but yet an interesting journey. We went to few places including Edinburgh, Inverness, Urquhart Castle, Loch Ness, Fort William, Fort Augustus, Glenfinnan Viaduct, and Glasgow.

Edinburgh: 12 hours in Edinburgh for me is quite boring but the city is simply beautiful.

Loch Ness: Loch Ness Monster !? I don't believe it at all...and I hate legend..

Fort Augustus: We went there just to see the stupid canal locks.

Glenfinna Viaduct: Stunning view...and it's the place to see the steam train that appear in a scene in Harry Potter movie.

Glasgow: Nice shopping experience there =D

p/s: been very busy recently so i have to write a very brief post.

from Whitby to Livepool

Apparently I've been slacking on my posts. I realized I haven't posted since 12th July. It become almost impossible to post on a regular basis while the assignments are pilling up. However, I manage to spare a moment of leisure under the pressure of my heavy workload. It was pretty nice having my day trip to a fishing port of Whitby. Walking around, sight-seeing and chewing on the popular MagPie Fish n' Chips...what a wonderful experience I had there.

I like blue Sea.....

...Blue sky...

...and the beaches...love everything..

Standing in front of the MagPie Cafe and holding the very big portion of Fish n Chips

it's Whitby lighthouse at the back

this is Whitby abbey...please ignore the silly and a-bit-scary looking smile of mine

No doubt, shopping is another way to put the stress behind you. That's exactly the reason I went to Livepool One and Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlets to spend my money!! Trust me I'm a total shopaholic when I lose myself. Anyway, shopping in UK is a whole new experience for me, because the tempting sales is really cheap!! It's cheaper than what I normally see in Malaysia. For me, clothing stores in Msia have never had a decent sales all along. They are really not generous and kiam siap on the price reduction. I become even more puzzled about ppl calling it a 'MEGAsales' when there were sales in Msia...@_@!?!? Well, I'm pretty sure that I'm gonna miss shopping in UK once I go back to my home country.

One of the popular landmark of Liverpool - Superlambanana

As shown in picture...we were having lunch at RED HOT

OMG the Mussel in Mongolian Sauce is really really delicious...I had 10 pieces of it...I wish I could have more!!

the stuff I've grabbed.....

I feel very fulfilling after shopping XD

My Cooking at Sheffield

Since I landed on UK, I have to prepare my every meal for the sake of cost saving. I think that cooking is fun after I've tried to cook few dishes.

Fried Rice with Egg, Onion, Potato, and Carrot. It was a failure because the rice was sticky. Should have left the rice overnight before frying it.

Tomato and Cheese Pizza with Salad

Cheese Baked Potato - as a snack instead of proper meal

My own version of Vege Lam fan - the taste is nice!

Garlic Tomato Spaghetti with vege again...
Cheap strawberry from the market...only 1.50 pound for 2 boxes.

This is the cheap Haagen Dazs...only 2 pounds...yummy

Cambridge

The forth week in UK and I was enjoying my day at the city of Cambridge which is well known as the home of one of the world's premier universities - University of Cambridge. I just realized that many colleges at the city are affiliated to University of Cambridge. I don't know about this before the tour guide told me...but frankly, I don't really care, because I believe that I would never have a chance to enter any one of these leading colleges.

Anyway, this post suppose to describe my experience at Cambridge, so let's get down to business.

What you see is the Mathematical Bridge, the myth behind this...was a genius who built this bridge without use of bolts and nuts. However, it's just a lie coz apparently I can see those black dots (I presume they were bolts) on the timber!

Despite photography was prohibited at Fitzwilliam Museum, we insisted to take our photo.
As the saying, rules are (definitely) made to be broken...!

Believe it or not!? this is where I pursue my degree!

Another Museum...this time around is Zoology kind of museum which displays a lot of animal skeleton.

Million-dollar clock. It's either a masterpiece of art or a piece of waste of money, what do you think?!

we went punting...fun!

King's College

I supposed they must be the top elites of King's College, graduate from any one of the colleges in Cambridge couldn't be easy. I wish I could be one of them.

Before heading home, I was chewing on my sticky and sweet Chelsea bun.
